1. Introduction

ArovenTech ("we", "our", or "us") operates the MeriShop mobile application (the "App"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy. This Privacy Policy explains our practices regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information through the MeriShop app.

2. Information We Collect

MeriShop is an offline-first application designed to respect user privacy and security:

• Personal Data (Email Address): If you create an account or sign in with Google/Firebase, your email address is securely stored for account authentication, subscription verification, and secure cloud backup features.
• Local Data (Offline): All business data, customer details, invoices, and product stock information are stored locally on your device using SQLite. We do not transmit your local transaction data to third-party tracking servers.
• Device Permissions:
  • Bluetooth: Used strictly for scanning and connecting to thermal receipt Bluetooth printers.
  • Camera: Used strictly for scanning product barcodes. Barcode data is processed locally.
  • Storage: Used to save generated PDF/Image receipts and Excel audit reports locally to your device.
  • Contacts: Optional permission used exclusively to pick customer names and numbers when creating Udhar Khata balance ledgers.

3. How We Use Your Information

Data collected is used strictly for:

• Authenticating user accounts and managing subscriptions.
• Enabling automatic, encrypted Google Drive cloud backups.
• Generating and printing bills, barcodes, and business analytics.
• Sending customer payment reminders via WhatsApp integration.

4. Account & Data Deletion Request

Users have full control over their account and data. You can request account and associated data deletion at any time by sending an email with your registered email address to info.aroventech@gmail.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Upon receiving your request, all cloud backups and account associations will be permanently purged within 7 business days.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted off-device for authentication or Google Drive backup is encrypted in transit using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols. As local data resides on your physical device, we recommend securing your mobile device with PIN or biometric authentication.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Google Play Billing, Firebase Authentication, and Google Drive APIs. These services operate under Google's Privacy Policy.
